There are not enough kind words to say about how amazing Heritage Montessori School is! I have had the best experience for both my boys! My oldest son started at the age of 3 1/2 with Ms. Kathy, Ms. Millie and through Ms. Shalane up until he was 6 years old. The best early childhood expereience you can imagine! My son attended Heritage from the time he was 4 until 7. He started out in the preschool class with Ms. Millie as a somewhat reserved child that was hesitant to try new things and blossomed into a confident, well-rounded and outgoing young boy. She is amazing with the most shy to the most rambunctious child in helping to prepare them for Kinder. Heritage Montessori has been a wonderful experience for our daughter. In Kindergarten, the team ensured she felt safe, part of the group, and appropriately challenged academically. In first grade, she is thriving -- making a diverse group of friends, learning a ton, and doing amazing extra curricular activities including sewing, cooking, field trips, and science experiments. Bravo to Heritage and the amazing teachers & staff!

Love love this school. We transitioned in January for first grade. This was a hard decision for my family. We were welcomed with loving arms and a smooth transition. My Son is happy and loving all the fun activities they have and their approach to learning tailored to each child really helps children learn in a happy and positive way. Heritage has embraced my children and individualized their educational needs as needed. They keep in constant communication with me about the needs of my children. The school is as amazingly charming and warming aesthetically as the teachers and staff who work there. One visit to their campus and you will see the charm as you walk through the doors. My three sons have all attended Heritage. We have been there for over ten years. I will never be able to express my appreciation for the staff and teachers. As a public school teacher myself, I value education, but I also value kids being explicitly taught grace, courtesy, executive functions, and the arts. Heritage does all those things and more. Our daughter has been going to this school for about 7 months now and our family loves it. We initially had some adjustment issues, as she was coming from a home care based environment to a school environment, so the first month or so was pretty tough. The kids in the classes are so well behaved that it kind of makes it difficult for a new child to transition in, especially one that is as free spirited as ours. I have had both my kids at school here and cannot imagine a better start to their education and their formation as little people. There is such care taken to developing each child with their unique personalities and traits. They strike a perfect balance between formal education and letting kids explore and develop their interests. I'll forever be grateful for having found this gem of a school.
