Slow but otherwise good print device This printer is fine. We had issues with it not being reachable after it went to sleep mode, but it turned out to be an issue with my router. Brothers poor tech support didn't figure this out, but when I bought a new router the issue went away. Not a criticism of the product. When it works, its great. It drops Wifi connection intermittently- but it could be fixed by Brother in a future firmware update perhaps. Sometimes, the device just freezes or hangs, requiring a hard unplug of the device to restart it. There are times where it does not get detected in the LAN and requires a restart to be discovered by devices again. But when it does function as intended it is delightful. It was very easy to set up and it's very clear print. Had a few days now and glad we selected this unit. It will make it easy to print homework and work assignments for our family. It's also very quiet.
Best home printer I have owned. I was tired of losing printer ink to evaporation. This printer does not have that problem. The print quality is great for a home printer and it was easy to set up. I am very pleased.

It works very well It does a very good job with B/W and color. The only issue is that it is quite heavy but other wise a very good printer.

Great printer, scanner, copier Purchase the HL-3180CDW over a year ago. Been working great ever since. No issues. Scanning to a PDF file on the computer is a great feature.
