Setup was a pain? But it is printing from my iPhone and iPad like a champ. I want to be able to print from my phone and iPad- seems to do that well. I am slightly critical of the setup process- it was quite archaic and a bit of a pain. I had to do the setup on my laptop and it appears to probably be better if you have a windows machine - I have a Mac.
Works as expected this printer was easy to set up. It preforms well with all my Apple devices. I am getting some background smearing.
Perfect for occasional large (5000+ page) printing tasks Twice a year I need to print date(s) and an address on pre-printed, full color, thin, single page invitations. I used to use a local print shop, however the cost was significant. This printer is able to print the required information using a simple word document with a text box in the correct location for about $30 in toner. Excellent I've been using Brother laser printers since 2004 and this is probably my 5th one. We print a couple of thousand pages per month including many shipping labels on 2-up laser labels. Each Brother laser printer gets better and faster and quicker. Barely ever have a jam and it's usually attributed to improper paper or label loading. Nothing really bad to say at all about the Brother HL-L6200. I always get the biggest capacity genuine Brother toner. Good fast printer This is a relatively fast (40 ppm) printer with duplex. The original printer came with a bad toner cartridge. Once replaced, it printed fine. The only complaint is the sleep mode. After a while, it drops off the network and has to be restarted. Since it sits on my desk it's a minor nuisance. Overall, however, it was good enough that I bought another one for my other office.
Buy this Print quality is excellent, as well as speed and precision. WiFi set up was so easy I thought it was just the first step, but nope, it was the only step that took five minutes. I haven't used the double tray function yet, but I doubt it will be a problem. As a a loan signing agent, a good printer is indispensable. My last Brother, single tray, broke last week when I moved. Fast and efficient This printer is a winner. It is very easy to set-up, everything is done through your computer and the wifi works extremely well. The printer comes with a cartridge capable of printing 30,000 pages.
