Easy setup - smaller footprint than my old inkjet printer I was looking for a color laser printer-only. I specifically didn't want an all-in-one. I have a scanner already and I plan to update it. Not having a scanner built in keeps the size relatively small. And I think it's the best looking printer I've seen. Good printer for higher volume printing. Doesn't scan, copy or fax however. I used to have an HP bubble jet printer. They use up the expensive cartridges too fast and do not last long. This one prints in color very well. If you need a printer that can handle several hundred pages a month, this is a good solution. It doesn't copy, scan or FAX however.

Broke even (costs) in one month We needed to print a ton and our inkjet was not up to the task. First of all, it was slow. Second, it would streak and bind. Finally, when a new set of ink was blown through in a single evening, followed by an expensive visit to a pay per print store, i ordered this brother laser. Who doesn’t want to print with lasers? A total believer in Brother's printers, and this one lives up to the expectations I am consistently impressed with the quality, reliability, durability, and ease of use with Brother's printers. Based on my experience thus far, this unit has continued to support that opinion. Very VERY happy with this printer.
best printer I've ever had Way better than any ink jet I've had. I will never go back to ink jet or to a different company. I only gave 3 stars for tech support because I never needed any.
