Absolutely awful experience—twice. First visit: overcharged and completely dismissed. Second visit: somehow even worse. The vet made ignorant, judgmental comments about how long it had been since my dog was seen, without bothering to understand that we were in the process of rescuing her. Lucy hit her head after being walked and fell into a seizure, so we rushed her immediately in thinking that was cause. I am not normally one to leave bad reviews, but I don’t want to see other pet owners experience anything like we did. 10/10 do NOT recommend this establishment. Our dog started to have a slight cough on Wednesday, which later turned to awful hacking, little appetite, and wasn't really drinking. We took our Chihuahua in for vomiting, coughing and choking. They took him right away then came back with a list of things they did. We paid and left. Later our dog got worse. Much worse. We called back and they said we would have to pay another office visit fee instead of it being a follow up. We went there because of the great reviews. We drove an hour to get there. Brought my cat here on Friday. Was over the phone that they could work out a payment plan for my cats care. When I arrived I was told there's no payment plan available, oh and by the way it's $80 just to look at your cat. Went to another vet and was able to work out a financing option for less than half what VETSS wanted for the exact same treatment. I know they have to make money, but I don't appreciate being lied to in order to get me in the door.
the only good experience there was the lady at the front desk she was so awesome my dog was bleeding and in pain was left in a room for about 40 mins until they come up with how much it was gonna cost instead of worrying about my dog a little more compassion for the animals and their owners should be more concern most people are gonna do what they have to do to save their pet regardless the cost
We had one great experience when our dogs got into poison and were very happy with this clinic. Then we took our young dog in and they completely misdiagnosed her, had us take her off the meds our regular vet had prescribed. They told us she was sick with a potentially fatal infection and put her on three very expensive meds. She did not get any better over the weekend. In fact she got much worse.
