From the moment we walked in with three "community" kittens, we were met with such caring, devoted associates. Working with VETTS and Voices For Animals has been an exceptional experience. It is so wonderful to know that those that can help, do. God Bless you all for what you do.

They are available 24/7 for emergencies or just a wellness check. Very friendly and knowledgable staff who really love their job and are good at what they do. They truly have a passion for animals and will treat almost anything.

I live in Florida but was in Shenandoah, Va when my little senior Chihuahua, Char became unexpectedly very, very sick. We took her to VETSS. From the second we walked in, everyone there was fantastic. The first vet who treated Char was beyond wonderful. The vet who took over was also very caring and genuinely concerned about Char. When I went over to visit Char I met Dr Jagger. What an exceptional lady! She sat there and cried with me as she explained exactly how bad Char's prognosis was. My girlfriend Bambi has been in prelabor with mild contractions for almost 72 hours when we rushed her here. We have at least four pups and she is older for her first litter, and chunky. Our vet had told us to induce her, when it didn't work we got very worried. The methods he uses are outdated and we found out we could have killed everyone. Every time I have been up there these vets and their staff have always helped me, given me their honest opinions, kept within my budget while still doing everything possible and are always available just for questions or concerns. I have never seen such a loving and caring staff out of all the vet offices I have been to. From the vets to the vet techs to the receptionists, you could feel the sympathy they have for the poor animals. I would rather go to them than anyone else now. Thank you VETTS for the prompt, professional and compassionate care you extended to me and my fellow LHS (Louisa Humane society) volunteer today with our double emergency. You were THE ONLY ONES that would even see poor little MoJo and Celia today. Everyone of the other 7+ vets we tried turned us away..it seemed NONE of them cared about the welfare of our little ones! my daughter used them when her poor dill got so ill and after many visits had to make the tough decision to put him to sleep. they were the best staff in the world to her when she had to make the tough decision so far from her family on her own for the first time. we were so glad for the compassionate care she received from all the staff there and knew that dill and her were in good hands with every visit they made there. she knows where to go with all her animal needs in the future and we would recommend this place to anyon... read more
