First time at Hooky. Came for a movie. The theater was very clean and had no odd smells like you find at some other theaters that serve food. Seats are very comfortable and provide plenty of room. I did notice that the leather or vinyl covering on our seats had been peeled off in some sections D8-9) and need to be refurbished. Kind of surprising since Hooky has not been opened very long. Huge dine-in theatre, however, poor idea of service. It's practically self-serve when ordering your food from a QR code. And the only way to get service is to also pay through that QR code for "service team assistance." Interesting concept they've come up with that's for sure

I had such a great experience thanks to Parker, who was doing magic at the bar today! Not only is he incredibly talented, but he also has this easygoing energy that makes the whole experience feel fun and effortless. His magic tricks genuinely blew me away...like the type where you're still thinking about them hours later trying to figure out how he did it. Okay, so Hooky is like the cutest name ever for an entertainment complex. I'm smitten with the name, and the place was actually top-notch. While we didn't partake in any of the arcade games, we watched a movie and visited the restroom facilities. They have many gender-neutral restrooms, which is so nice since you get more privacy. Disappointed with my experience at Hooky's Addison. Popcorn was stale, my second drink order was delayed, and instead of resolving the issue, the manager Josue dismissed my concern and even called me a liar. Thankfully, the staff (Steven, Valerie, Maya, and Kris) were kind and apologetic, but leadership needs serious improvement.
