I wish I was able to give more then 5 stars. The care, thoughtfulness and attention to detail by the staff was exceptional. Shauna, the activities Director, was amazing! She always treated my Aunt with kindness and compassion and made sure she always communicated with me and the rest of my family. Having family members grow older is never easy, but with people like Shauna and Houston Transitional care, they make growing older process a little easier.

My wife was checked in the facility yesterday and l have to hand out to them, they are total professionals. They showed care, concern and compassion . The place is clean, warm and inviting . Helen who assessed my wife went above and beyond . She rocks. Thank you.

When my mother first arrived at the center, she did not possess many of her physical faculties due to a stroke. Through your diligent work, she continues to see daily improvement physically and in her spirit. Now, she can talk, move both hands and walk slowly with help. It's a nice new nursing facility. Doctors are knowledgeable and along with other staff members they take good care of the patients.

The worst place to have your loved one at. Some of the nurses don't care on how your loved one is they don't check up on them if you call they take forever to come check up on them me and my family had told them my dad couldn't eat on his own they didn't care they just went in to the room leave the plate and leave, today the nurse taking care of him I had called for him to get cleaned out she said she couldn't do it because she was passing breakfast she told him to eat and after she was going to clean him I called once he wa... read more

From the outside it looks good. The lobby looks good. Checked my sister in and it was downhill from there. Response time for needing help Is 30 min to an hr at best. Some of the staff were very rude. They feed you and give you your meds, that's it. No one ever checked if she needed anything! We've been told this facility isn't that bad. That's unacceptable. My friend arrived on a Thursday evening. Barely give information about the basics. Another family member had to go to the front desk to figure out how to get his phone on the internet. The bed wouldn't go up and down...reported on Friday- every nurse, assistant or anyone else who entered the room.Try to help fix it...4 days later come on monday it's now working. My granddad died at the hands of this facility. He was actually improving and these people had employees that simply mistreated him and honestly couldn't care less about the residents.

This place is so unprofessional and unethical in their dealings with potential employees I can only imagine how they must treat their residents. Nurses, Stear clear of this place. If I could give zero stars it would be accurate.
