Very slow online loan process. Requested an auto loan on Monday morning, was contacted by the loan officer late on Tuesday & submitted all necessary paperwork and then was informed of paperwork title/issue that they missed late in the day on Wednesday along with a DMV/Idaho law lesson. I canceled the approved loan on Thursday. It would have taken another week to fix the paperwork that I could have done on Tuesday. Nice and friendly employee. I'd recommended an in person loan application going forward.

I was scammed during the pandemic and long story short it affected me greatly. Then Idaho Central Credit Union decided it was appropriate to withhold the money that the President sent me to help me through these times. If I could give less then 1 star I would. I went in to apply for my first credit card, as I have been banking with ICCU for years. I was set up with Luis. He was the most uneducated loan officer and I was highly disappointed. He claimed I was a great candidate for the premier card and then I was rejected almost instantly. I have great great income and great credit, but he failed to ask questions concerning anything else. I have banked with ICCU for 13 years and while they are nice when you're depositing a check they are horrible to get a loan with. I have had a bad experience anytime I apply for a loan with them and I have HAD ENOUGH they were so bad to me this time I lost my car that I needed to finance and they upset a good friend that was willing to co-sign. Wish I could give these banks a worse than 1 star because I don't feel that's deserved, if you want to open an account at a bank that will constantly take bs hidden fees out of your bank account than this is the one to go to. Also the security of your account is horrible as mine was making payments to credit companies that I never owed anything to. Do not take out an auto loan through this credit union. We traded-in our vehicle the beginning of November at the same dealer we purchased the trade-in. It is now January 2018 and we are still receiving notices that we need to purchase insurance coverage for this vehicle or they WILL PURCHASE COVERAGE FOR US! The loan department apparently does not communicate with other departments. It makes me wonder about other aspects of this credit union. I came to this location to pay my bill and was harrassed that my bill was overdue and my payment that was over the minimum would not suffice. The lady yelled at me about it until i told her thats all i could give at the time. I could not believe after all the other problems i have had that this is the treatment i got for paying my bill on time! I called customer service when i got home because i was so upset. Horrible experience with this credit union. Opted to trust USAA with 100% of my financial needs. Felt less like a credit union and more like a bank.
