If I could give 0 stars i would have but it made me pick 1 so....I had the worst experience i have ever had at a dentist office. I realized immediately the assistant had no clue what she was doing but okay fine everyone has to learn....but no one helped her they just let her fail.....I was in so much pain and nervous and no one seemed to understand patient care is about making the patient feel comfortable....the dentist was condescending, I got no relief, I waited again to just be able to check out and then was given a quote... read more

The dental hygienists are great at Independence Family Dentistry. It's a good place to get your teeth cleaned and other routine dental work. However, if you are thinking about Invisalign, go to an orthodontist instead. IFD has messed up my Invisalign tray orders so many times I have lost track. It seems like once you've paid for it, they no longer care.

Not a great first experience - I sat in the waiting room for 50 minutes waiting for my appointment while listening to the reception staff complain about other patients. The person trying to take my x-rays had no idea what she was doing and had to redo it about 8 or 9 times before getting someone to help. Dentist looked at my x-ray less than 2 seconds then told me I needed a root canal and crown; which may very well be true, but it would be helpful to have an actual explanation of why this procedure was needed.
