RecommendedWe are so thankful to be a new member of the Island Animal Hospital. I was apprehensive about taking my dog, Marci, to a new vet in the middle of COVID when I couldn’t tour the facility, but the kindness, care, and compassion from staff here blew me away and we are SO grateful for everything they’ve done! It means a lot to me that Dr. Luckstone took the time to call me during Marci’s dental procedure and explain everything before they moved forward. I can’t possibly brag on them enough!

They are caring and compassionate. They take really good care of my kitty. She had to be seen on a Saturday and even though I had to wait in the car the visit was less than 15 minutes. Appreciate them so much!

Cato had a great visit during his boarding there this past week. We got daily updates and reports. He was well cared for, got to play and swim. When we picked him up, four of the staff came out to say good bye. Thank you for taking care of my little boy.
We took our, new to us, 14-month-old Collie to IAH last week. Even though we could not go inside, the staff was very patient with our concerns and questions. Dr. Luckstone will definitely be our vet for our collie, Missy.

Dr. Luckstone is the BEST. So glad she is now doing acupuncture. My little Kaluah was having trouble walking; she diagnosed with in one minute, did acupuncture that day and the results are AMAZING. Kaluah now has spring in her step and is back to her squirrel/ bird rage; she is a Rat Terrier duh.

Unfortunately I had to ask Dr. Luckstone to euthanize my 16+/- year old Jack Russell Terrier, ZIp this week. He was a difficult patient even in good health over the past 3-4 years and they always handled him with care. They took the time to understand his issues and work around them. This was absolutely not my typical experience trying to get care for such a "special" dog. They would give him treats to distract him from his regular check ups which was exactly the key to his heart. Even on that last day they were so compassi... read more
