person at the store was very helpful and understanding of my unusual circumstances. they personally led me out to my storage unit in a torrential thunderstorm on foot and helped me park. storage unit is clean, dry, accessible, and seems secure. plenty of room for all my stuff, plus the "one cent rent" for the first month is just too good to pass up.
