Still wouldn't recommend. Again- suckered in with a promotional price of .01 that's steadily increased up to $107. Here's what you get for all that dough: Lots of strange activity at this storage unit- people hanging out in the storage unit, this one car that's there all the time, people watching TV, people obviously living and or spending lots of time in the storage unit. OH. MY. GOD. NO. I've had a unit here since 2016. Ever since this place was bought out by iStorage (maybe a year ago) there have been an increasing amount of issues. The moving carts started to break so they replaced them with this tiny, hardly useable ones and you can never find one when you need one. MORE IMPORTANTLY, there is an increasing homeless population that seems to be moving into the units. I have been a customer with Simply Storage for over 5 years. My rate goes up every year. It's like I'm being punished for being a longterm customer. So don't count on the pricing you get when you sign up, because it will just keep going up. I pay well over what new customers pay for the same size unit I have. Terrible customer service as well, they just cop an attitude about their policies and make no effort to help.
BOYCOTT THESE NOISE POLLUTERS! They have a very high pitched beeping door alarm that goes off thirty to fifty times a day (every time a car leaves). I live 250 yards from this place. Inside my apartment, with the windows closed and my air conditioner and tv running, I can still hear every last beep. Some of my neighbors have actually MOVED OUT, citing this alarm as the reason. Literally the worst-run business I have ever seen. I should have fled from the beginning. Aside from the access code they gave me not working, getting trapped in the building by the automatic doors (and no one answering their phone to get me out), or the lack of signage to navigate the maze of storage spaces, I have no idea why I was dumb enough to leave my furniture at Simply Self Storage.
