I'm sad to write a review like this. I moved out of this facility as well... it's three blocks from where I live. It was totally convenient.. the elevator broke in October of 2024. Instead of compensating people they continued to increase the rent... I was storing more items in my home then in my unit! I couldn't get items down the stairs. The door was very small, and there's a pole on the order side. I've called multiple times with no answer. My final draw was a third increase since the down elevator... Stay away! The facility is very poorly run and shabby. Worst is the elevator in one bldg has been out for over 6 months. For a long time, there was no local management, just a phone number on the locked office door. I have complained to upper mgt and received no satisfaction, just continuing excuses. I should say the new manager is very nice but essentially powerless to rectify problems. The facility is very poorly managed. Biggest issue - the elevator needed to go to the second floor HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR OVER 3 MONTHS. There is no other access, beside stairs, to these upstairs storage units. There has been no progress or update to fix the elevator. What's the point of getting a storage unit here? Completely pointless and yet, prices are the same and increases monthly, despite the most essential resource (an elevator) being down for over 3 months. I was going to rent a space here but the office and facility were both closed because of flooding. The manager Jim that I met with weeks before would not even give me rental options or allow me to look at other units. Now I know why.

Upon calling istorage to find out after what length of time the rate will be raised, I was told it could be after a month after three months, and I asked how much it could be raised by and they said oh there's no way to know, it's all decided by corporate. And when I asked him how do I get in touch with corporate, they said oh well they wouldn't even know because it's all done automatically. I was then told that they give you 30 days notice, but once your stuff is in storage, it's like a hostage crisis; the expense to move... read more

Avoid this storage facility if you can. They attract customers with decent rates but give it 6-8 months and they'll be raising your rate. The amount they raise it to increases every single time. I've been there for less than 3 years and they've already increased it atleast 4x. Worse storage facility who takes advantage of their customers. I get once a year, raise the rent but EVERY 6-8 MONTHS?! Sadly, they know that people will just pay the increased rent because who wants to lug all their stuff around every 6-8 months??
