I just had thumb surgery done by Dr. Aldridge. Prior to surgery he was very open about what to expect. He came to my room prior to surgery and assured me that all would work out. He was right for sure. He said that my hand was worse than he had thought but that he is sure that I will be pleased with the results. He listened well to my concerns and took my drug allergies seriously. Although he said that there would be a lot of pain after surgery, I assure you that Advil is more than enough to take away the edge.

I have seen Dr Aldridge twice regarding an issue with my wrist. Repetitive use of any part of the body can cause recurring problems that need to be addressed occasionally. Dr. Aldridge is a no-nonsense, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable individual. Great demeanor and personality. I might even bestow upon him the appellation of "perfect"!

Dr Aldridge performed surgery last January, replacing the large joint in my right thumb. I have found him to be a very caring doctor as well as a skilled surgeon. This was the second surgery he has done for me, and I would not go anywhere else for hand or wrist surgery. I am very pleased with the outcome of the surgeries.

Fortunately, I was lucky enough to get Dr. Aldridge to do my wrist surgery. There is none better. Not only is he exceptionally competent and revered for his top-notch level of expertise, he genuinely cares for his patients. I happened to be at PT and he walked by BEHIND me so I did not see him. However, he saw me and came over to see how I was doing. HE took the initiative to do that and it meant a great deal to me that my surgeon went out of his way to speak to me and check on my progress. If you have hand/wrist needs, Dr. ... read more

I struggled with left hand/finger pain for a long time. I had 2 prior surgeries, performed by another physician, that just didn't seem to work. The pain was out of control. I have RA and OA. I had a left thumb fusion, left hand tight rope procedure, and reconstruction of non traumatic tendon rupture on my left index and middle finger. These 3 procedures were all done at the same time. Wish you could see before and after pictures. I am now 3 months post op and I could not be happier. Truthfully, when the cast came off after t... read more

Dr. Aldridge performed surgery for my Dupuytrens on my 71 yr old pinkie Dec 4. Now it is less than 3 months later and my finger is pain-free and and has more than than predicted range and mobility. And, amazingly, I have been virtually pain-free since 2 days after the surgery with Advil when needed the first couple weeks. Dr. A took the time in our initial exam and pre-op appointment to explain what he would be doing in just the right amount detail and what I could expect for the recovery.

I am a 60-year-old semi-pro musician (keyboard player) who has entrusted my left hand to Dr. Aldridge in 2011 and 2019 for Dupuytren’s contracture. Both times, Dr. Aldridge thoroughly reviewed the treatment options, gave his recommendation (surgery, in my case), and skillfully treated my hand. His professionalism and calm demeanor set me at ease, and both times I was delighted with the results. Dupuytren’s has a tendency to return. If it does, I’ll return to have Dr. Aldridge take care of it.
