I am a 56 year old male with Dupuytren's contracture. Dr Aldridge provided a complete explanation of my condition and the options available for treatment. He and the staff at Emerge Ortho were professional, personal and displayed the empathy of a team that prides itself on quality care. I chose the surgical option to treat the cords in my right hand and nodule in the little finger. 4 weeks after the surgery, I could not be happier with the result.

I injured my right wrist at work in October of 2016 but x-rays didn't show the damage; I ended up working with broken bones and nothing but a brace for several months. My wrist kept getting worse, and after over a year of dealing with the pain I was referred to Dr. Aldridge. Within a few weeks of having surgery I had almost no pain in my wrist. The range of motion and functionality between my two arms is almost identical now. I highly recommend Dr. Aldridge to anyone with hand or wrist pain!

Dr Aldridge is excellent in every way. I consulted with him for my Dupuytren’s Contracture and his recommended course of treatment (injection and manipulation) was a complete success. His bedside manner and professionalism made me feel very comfortable and his staff were friendly and responsive. I would have no hesitation to return for his advice for any future hand related problem.

I am a 54 year old woman diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 20. I scheduled reconstructive surgery on my left hand with Dr. Aldridge because I was rapidly losing mobility and function due to profound, long-term damage and deformity. I am now 6 months post-surgery. I wish I could post a before and after picture here to dramatically support my review but trust me when I say the results are nothing short of miraculous. I have a new hand. And I have regained full mobility and function

Dr. Aldrich performed excellent surgery on distal radius fracture of my right arm. He is very professional and competent with an excellent bedside manner both in pre-op and post-op appointments, answering all questions and providing as much time as necessary for clear communication. Could not be more pleased with surgical outcome.

I was referred to Dr. Aldridge by my primary care physician. He diagnosed my severe arthritis in both hands and i was in severe pain without warning. His caring professional manner gave me great confidence from the beginning. He explained the surgical procedure in great detail and prepared me for the post-operative expectations and rehab exercises. Due to outstanding surgical skills, after only 60 days, I have full range of movement and minimal discomfort. I will be forever grateful!

Dr. Aldridge performed two surgeries on both hands, with three incisions per hand. He did a carpal tunnel release and replaced the first carpometacarpal joint in both thumbs with a tendon from my wrists. Even days after each surgery, I had less pain in the hand than the week before the surgery. At only 7 months from my right hand surgery, all my incisions are virtually invisible. I can open jars bare-handed. I am able to do any activity I wish without constant pain in my hands.

After being a licensed RN and practicing for 50 years in various healthcare in- and out-patient settings, and other than two childbirth admissions, I had my first personal hospitalization experience in 2017. Dr. Aldridge as my hand/wrist surgeon, and all the Durham office and NC Specialty Hospital staff, including front desk/admissions and licensed staff provided the highest level of care and professionalism, always assuring education understood and that both my spouse and I felt their support.
