We’re fairly regular, quarterly diners at J Prime. As always, the service was spectacular and the food fantastic. You really can’t go wrong. J Prime is the best steak place in San Antonio, bar none. I recommend the meals for two. We’re partial to the Porterhouse.
We have been to Jprime several times and have always had good service so that’s not the issue! We went on a date night and were seated in the bar, as requested, and we ordered the lobster bites, which were disappointing! They were actually served in an escargot platter, the portions were small & the temperature was lukewarm! We ordered the porterhouse for two, which was very disappointing!! The temperature was perfect however it did not have the normal JPrime taste, it had no flavor and was actually bland!

Birthday dinner. It was good, but we weren’t seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time, and the food took a while to come out. The food was great and our server was really nice. The only negatives were the wait time to be seated (even with my reservation) and the hostesses are rude and have been every time I’ve called for any reason or waiting.
This is our favorite restaurant. The food is amazing and the service is the best in Texas. Our waiter Conner did a great job.

The service was great,food was very tasty and the atmosphere was awesome. We took my cousin for her birthday and she was so impressed. They also presented her a big slice of cake with sparklers for her birthday. It was a very enjoyable experience.
