Everything about the experience at J Prime is outstanding. The server couldn't be better. The bar has a vibrant feel. The complimentary bread is incredible. The wedge salad is properly sized with nice thick bacon slices on top. The kabobs are an incredible bargain and extremely well prepared. If you like your steak medium rare or less, ask for it without the bacon wrap. They can't cook the bacon and keep the steak below medium at the same time. J-Prime is our favorite restaurant for celebrating special occasions.for the food and atmosphere are always exceptional. Their staff and attention to detail is unsurpassed. Last night we dined at J-Prime in celebration of our anniversary. The Old Fashioned cocktail was exceptional and steaks and side dishes delicious.
A Place like no other. Surf & Turf done right! The Lobster is a whopper and the steak is ginormous! Could easily feed 4 and done to perfection. It is easily the most romantic place I've been in San Antonio, the ambiance is marvelous...and nobody rushes you! Had a super time and a great first date. So, if you gentlemen want to impress a lady, just bring here here, they'll do the rest!

Amazingly done steaks. Was not a single item ordered that felt lacking. They did not skimp on anything that had lobster in it. Cocktails were well balanced. Service was a little slow, however, they did a great job filling the time between receiving courses.
My son took his girlfriend here for her Sweet 16! They loved it!! Thank you!
Wonderful experience for our first anniversary. They paid attention to details and made sure to mention and handle the request made through our open table reservation. It was spendy but delicious and worth it for a special occasion.
