Great and amazing food. Visiting from Houston and it felt like I was home at this steak house.
We had a very pleasant dining experience. Our waiter, Brad, was very attentive as were the other dining room team members. The food was delicious, slightly small portions in the apps and sides, but overall a great experience. The manager, Daniel, also stopped by our table to ensure we were all satisfied.
Went for Happy Hour on a busy Friday night. Each of us tried different cocktails than our usual libation and were thoroughly pleased! Had espresso martinis and old fashioneds—delicious and $9 each. Food options selected were the filet pineapple shish kabob and the filet polenta (husband ordered a second serving). Great food for a small plate! Our server was Mariah who was attentive and knowledgeable. We LOVED our Happy Hour…or two!
The service is exceptional - 5+ stars.Layla and Christian were engaging, upbeat and most attentive. Everyone at J-Prime Steakhouse is super friendly, and works as a team. We went for happy hour, and the carpaccio, filet mignon kabobs, shrimp and the sliders were excellent. Highly recommend. You can't go wrong here for happy hour or dinner.
Outstanding dining experience. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and nearly every staff member we came in contact with congratulated us. A nice touch. Overall service was wonderful if not sometimes perhaps a little overly attentive. But it wasn't to the point of being annoying. Octopus ceviche was a great starter and our steaks, a filet and a ribeye, were grilled perfectly medium rare and melted in the mouth. Highly recommend J-Prime to celebrate a special occasion.
We had a great experience to celebrate my son's college graduation. He loves steak and our dinner here certainly did not disappoint. Quality and cook on the steaks and all of the food was fantastic, probably the best we have had in San Antonio (and we have been to nearly all of the high end steak houses in town). I like the Brazilian-spin on things (including the pao de queijo and jaafar sauce), since we lived there for 3.5 years (and our son was born there). The new fried oysters were enjoyed by all - they were a little rich so great to share. My beet salad was fresh and delicious. Our server took the time to personalize the toppings for me. Delightful meal.
Great place, totally enjoyable. Staff were superb and food was over the top.
