We had reservations but had to wait about 10 minutes. Last time we were there we also had reservations and waited 30 minutes. Could not hear our friends talking as it was so noisy.
Overall, the meal was very good to great and we would return. This visit was not as impressive as a past experience as we were seated in a their flexible dining room that can double as a function room and was very noisey. There were multiple large groups and the noise level was extreme. I have a hearing loss and a note in my profile for a quiet location. Our first dining experience with J Prime was in an area of just a few tables outide their prinvate dining room and worked much better for us. The food overall was very good.... read more
Food was great, cocktails creative, service was amazing!
J Prime Steakhouse is the go-to location from special events. J Prime is the only restaurant with service that mirrors what we've seen at fine Disney restaurants. The only "con" that I can tell is the dining areas get a little noisy with the constant flow of people (staff and patrons). That is a minor issue considering the fantastic experience and food quality.
Everything was superb! To receive exceptional customer service from valet, hostess, wait staff, managers, and bartenders made the entire experience phenomenal. The food was amazing...presentation as well as flavor. Hope to see a J-Prime in Houston, with Miguel as the senior manager. He checked in on us and was so gracious and friendly. It made us return the next night! Well done J-Prime!

This restaurant is beautiful! The service is over the top. All staff are very friendly and make every effort to make sure you are happy. The food is excellent too. The best in San Antonio!
