My wife and I met in San Antonio to have a quick but special weekend getaway. We stayed at a very nice hotel, and I wanted to take her out to a very nice restaurant for a great steak. I did my research and decided on J-Prime. I made the right choice. The steaks were outstanding...I have a Green Egg and grill an outstanding steak...these were as good if not better. The sides were awesome and the service was absolutely top notch. Thank you J-Prime for being the center point of a fantastic weekend!!

Most definitely the best steak house in San Antonio
Phenomenal service. The amount of personal attention paid to the small details that make the dining experience a good one, was, in a word, excellent. Manager and Staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner memorable and amazing. Dining experience was second to none, and every dish was cooked and plated to perfection. We had an amazing experience. The music was a bit louder than I expected, but it wasnt too loud that you couldnt hear those in our group of 7. The decor and architecture were very unique and impressive. The lighting was pretty low, and a few in our group had a harder time reading the menu. Our waiter provided excellent service. We had an amazing experience. Food, service and atmosphere was all incredible. We will most definitely be visiting again.
We went for the first time this past weekend. Wow. It was amazing. The highlight is those little yucca rolls. They could sell those by the dozen! Overall I thought it was great, but I think with a restaurant of this level (and prices), but that is to be expected. The service was great. The little touches, like a card for our anniversary and a rose, was a nice touch. Be prepared to take food home though! You get a lot of it.
