Beautiful restaurant, impeccable food and elevated service at J-Prime. One of San Antonio’s greatest high-end restaurants.
Perfect steak and ambiance will definitely be coming back.
I would recommend J-Prime only for an extremely special occasion.
Best filet I’ve ever had; and I’ve had them from all over! Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was elevated but not pretentious. Wife and I thought it was the best meal experience we’ve ever had second only to our wedding dinner.
Had a wonderful time. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. He had a ton of tables yet was always there when I needed something. Food quality is amazing. I think y’all have the best steak in town. I’ve dined at them all Perry’s Ruth Chris Morton’s Myrons the list goes on. Y’all are my favorite.
We opted for a late lunch on Valentine's Day instead of the traditional evening dinner. We enjoyed it very much, the ambiance was much quieter, the service was attentive yet not intrusive and the food was very good! I had the filet and my wife opted for scallops and shrimp, she loved hers and mine was cooked to perfection!
Outstanding service. All appetizers snd entrees were incredible. It seemed often that the servers may have had tables mixed up, but they played it off very well. Of particular note- the steak knives DO NOT lie well on your plate while eating. They should be replaced. Pricey but I’ll still be back!!
Valentines dinner on Feb 13 with guest we invited. Have been to J Prime several times. Albert,our waiter, was excellent but seemed stretched to provide service. Very busy and very loud. Drinks were very weak. Fois grad as appetizer was cold to the point fat was congealing. Credited on bill. Wife’s steak was rare instead of medium and was not hot. Spinach au gratin was excellent.
