Favorite restaurant...best food and best service in town!!
We had an outstanding experience at J Prime and we will be back. We have lived in San Antonio for only a few years but we have tried most of the steakhouse options and this was our favorite in the area for the quality of steaks (filet and rib eye), excellent service, and general ambience. Service was impeccable as usual. Mike did a great job getting us our cocktails before we were sat at our table.
The food and service was awesome! We were greeted as we walked in and our table was available. The managers (Carlos and Oscar) also made it a point to come by the table to greet us and check to see if everything was perfect.
Probably the best filet I’ve had in a long time. Service was impeccable.

We enjoyed our dinner service was excellent!
Payton, our server, was one of the best we've had recently. She was attentive without being obtrusive and took great care of us. All the staff seemed to cover for each other, so there was always someone close by to clear the table and refill water glasses. The strip steak I had was perfectly prepared and very tasty. We also had the au gratin potatoes which were quite good. In all, it was a very enjoyable dinner. My wife and I plan to return soon.
We went for culinaria and had the best time. It was our first time at J Prime and we picked the perfect place. The lights in my opinion were a little too low and the music choice didn’t fit the Ambience. Our server Daniel was impeccable along with the staff. We will definitely be coming back in the near future!
