(I thought id submitted this yesterday; so this may be a repeat....but doesn't appear so. Ive seen Dr. Oneill for a number of years--after he was recommended by a close friend. He's been very professional and totally responsive and helpful throughout, including when i had various stages of skin cancer (mainly Basal). I trust him completely.
Dr. Lindgren is an excellent dermatologist. I go for an annual check and she is extremely competent and nice. She always removes skin tags for me and I never have a problem. I highly recommend Dr. Lindgren (although that will make the time to get an appointment longer for me!)

I called AA Dermatology for an emergency visit (I am a patient of theirs), but they would not see me for at least another month. I had a bad fall and had a deep cut on my lip, which could now be infected. On the other hand, my dentist (I also had damage to my teeth), rescheduled a couple of patients so as to see me immediately.
Traumatizing
She lied to my face when I asked her about a medication and whether it had a certain side effect or not. Either that or she didn’t know one of the most common side effects of the medicine... would not recommend. She’s awful.
I have been going to this practice for about 20 years with virtually no problems. Now that they are owned by Anne Arundel, you can’t talk directly to anyone in the office. I have been waiting over 10 days to have a pre-auth done so that I can get my medication. In that 10 days I have called 6 times and I keep being told “a message has been sent to the team” and I still got no reply. Dr. Oneil's care are was fine. However, office management is terrible! Do not recommend anyone at Anne Arundel Dermatology. He said, come back in a few weeks to check that things are fine. I did. The appointment lasted less than 2 minutes. I was billed full price (out of pocket cost = $74). I called to discuss at least 20 times. The office manager said she would call back, and never did. Even a clear decision not to reconsider this charge would have been appreciated.
I've been going to Dr. Lindgren for several years. She is knowledgeable and patient friendly. If you can deal with her rude, inattentive and overall unfriendly staff then I highly recommend her. I squirm everytime I have to make an appointment, visit the office and call to correct my invoice. While I understand Dr. Lindgren is is high demand, this is also very indicative of how her office staff treats patients. We are treated as disposable.
