Although I have had annual body checks, Dr. Lindgren failed to identify 3 basal cell carcinomas. One, on my nose, was spotted by a physician's assistant. Dr. Lindgren expressed no concerns about a second one, a growth on my back which was frozen off but which did not heal.. A third growth, on my upper lip, brought to her attention over two years ago, was deemed innocuous. I simply cannot fathom how a Harvard-educated doctor who has been practicing for years failed to identify these carcinomas
I saw Dr. Lindgren a few months ago for full body check. Her exam and treatment were casual so I made an appointment with another Dermatologist. He removed several lesions that Dr. Lindgren merely sprayed. One of the lesions is a basal cell cancer for which I am will have Mohs surgery. Strongly suggest that you get a second opinion if you have more than simple acne.
