Dr. Barrese performed DBS (seizure) surgery on my son’s brain and chest. He has the BEST bedside manner, he answers every question and has the patience of a saint. He really truly cares about his patients, more than any doctor I’ve ever met. The surgery was a huge success, there was almost no swelling at all, which I hear is very uncommon with brain surgery. My son left the hospital the next day. I can’t say enough about how amazing Dr. Barrese is.
I had a great experience with the back surgery that Dr. Barrese did. I am in less pain now since I had it done.
Dr Barrese is a very compassionate Dr. He is willing to spend whatever length of time needed to answer all of your questions and address your concerns. You will feel exceptionally comfortable with him.
Dr. Barrese operated on my L5-S1 pinched nerve. He was very professional and responsive to my needs. That was at Aria Torresdale Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia. His assistant did the initial interview with me, followed by a shorter visit by Dr. Barrese. They both appeared after my surgery and the following visits at the hospital and the post-op office visit. I was sent to rehab for 2 weeks following my surgery.
Misdiagnosed a brain tumor
