I would recommend Dr Bowers to anyone. He addressed my problem and told me of my options but did not try to talk me into surgery. I will be going to him from now on.

Doctor Bowers did both of my knee surgeries. He takes time to answer any questions you may have, explain procedure . He is extremely knowledgeable , skilled surgeon with many years of experience. I would trust his expertise completely and grateful for the care I received.

Partial knee replacement in June 2016. Recovery was much faster than I expected. Met all by PT goals by the 2nd week and exceeded them by the 3 week after surgery. Went off pain med oxycodone with in the first week after the surgery [Tylenol was more than enough to relieve what little pain I had]. I would highly recommend Dr Bowers [ and his staff] and Meriter Hospital at all levels of the procedures that occurred.

Dr. Bowers has replaced both my knees (left, 2012; right, 2016) He is an excellent surgeon and a very knowledgeable and caring person. He and I agreed to be very conservative with my first knee, spending 2 years working through the options for relief before deciding to do the full replacement. That surgery went VERY well and I was rehabbed at home and on an outpatient basis with GREAT results. This second replacement a week ago went smoothly as well and I am already back to an astonishing level

I had an appointment that I waited over 43 minutes and never was told that he has behind. He didn’t take any of my frustration into consideration. Provider doesn’t care about his patients and doesn’t bother communicating. I understand providers get behind it is the way of life. But when checking in and asking if the doctors on time and the front desk says oh yes, you are next and provider has been on time all morning. What is the point of appointment believe me I do understand things happen, but communication is key and thos... read more

He’s a good doctor and all he did my knee replacement great job, but he and my pain doctor went back and forth telling me that doctor was suppose to handle my pain medicine for my knee replacement so can you imagine going through surgery without pain medicine and had to stop physical therapy cause of the pain I was going through so my knee is no better, but doctor bower is a great doctor guess the communication was not there between doctor.
