Love the pump. The Wifi interface is cumbersome and unreliable, especially trying to reconnect after it disconnects from my ISP

Bought this to replace a JEP controller that was less than 3 years old and the buttons no longer worked. Got it installed, but can’t get it to connect to the Internet. It connects to the Local LAN just fine, but can’t reach the cloud. The app is extremely difficult to use locally. Here are some tips: • Ensure that the wifi signal out by your pool equipment is consistently at least 10 Mbps, though closer to 15 Mbps is ideal. • Ensure that your pump is using a 2.4 GHz wifi network (not 5 GHz). Sorry, but i do not have the same experience with this device. I has connectivity issues with my home router or my phone. It is really horrible. I believe that for the cost of having this type of pool pump the company should implement a more friendly software. Or maybe better leave as a manual control if a reliable software can not be provided. I hope this software issues gets fixed so customer are provided with quality value for their money.

This very expensive pump doesn’t work because the iAquaLink app doesn’t work. No point in buying an expensive system such as this if the extra you’re paying for doesn’t connect. They make good pumps but cannot get their app to work at all - need to invest in way better programmers. And if you have the old app, do not update it. If you’re a new customer you’re stuck with the new app that doesn’t work. It has been that way for weeks and weeks.
