I had a brand new Hayward propane heater that never worked. I was unable to talk to a person at Hayward, all calls were routed to a dealer. The dealer was not able to fix the problem. So two tears went by along with over $1,500 in repairs and I still had a heater that would not heat my spa. Once I connected with another business they explained why the Hayward was not going to get better and suggested I replace it with a Jandy. Pros: Heater controls the temperature very well. Heater is quiet. Heater control panel is easy to use. Cons: Ignition switch had to be replaced after 1 week of use. Access to LED fault lamp is not easy. Must remove two or three access panels to locate lamp.
