I have had it two weeks and now there is some ignition fault so the heat exchanger burner will not light. I paid $4000 for this and the install. In 2016 I had to replace my prior Jandy product (same equipment) and I paid $2750. This is my fourth heater in 20 years, all Jandy products per the recommendation of the pool builder and the pool and spa heater company. I am less than impressed.
First unit failed within 6 months of use. Tried to blame it on us with the pool chemicals, but I have owned pools for over 20 years and never had problems. Unit made terrible noises when water was running through it. Technician said c clips were missing inside the unit and pieces had come loose. Jandy made us pay to have a new one installed and pay $1250 towards the new unit. New one has worked for a year so far, but who knows. I would not own another Jandy unit.
