Works well
In have only had it for 2.5 months but so far it has been great. No issues and it heats the pool very fast.
Min setting of 2850 rpm required to avoid no flow …. Not good Slow heat rate compared to previous heater

My previous pool was Pentair with my new pool being Jandy. The Pentair pool has mostly 20 year old technology as a base, replaced with newer parts as needed over the years. This Jandy heater has simply been the worst part of a mostly bad/poor brand new Jandy pool experience. Three months after the pool/spa was turned over to us, the heater simply would not ignite. I have had it two weeks and now there is some ignition fault so the heat exchanger burner will not light. I paid $4000 for this and the install. In 2016 I had to replace my prior Jandy product (same equipment) and I paid $2750. This is my fourth heater in 20 years, all Jandy products per the recommendation of the pool builder and the pool and spa heater company. I am less than impressed.

First unit failed within 6 months of use. Tried to blame it on us with the pool chemicals, but I have owned pools for over 20 years and never had problems. Unit made terrible noises when water was running through it. Technician said c clips were missing inside the unit and pieces had come loose. Jandy made us pay to have a new one installed and pay $1250 towards the new unit. New one has worked for a year so far, but who knows. I would not own another Jandy unit.
