Great little unit so far. Efficient & quiet. Was hesitant to replace my existing Jandy heater with another one as the old unit never worked reliably. Was assured by our pool guy the JXi line was much more reliable & he would stand behind any repairs. So far, it has been but need a few miles to be sure!

Works great! Lot faster than the 250 btu that I replaced.
This heater was recommended by my pool guy. So I trust he would use the best heater on the market.

In have only had it for 2.5 months but so far it has been great. No issues and it heats the pool very fast.
Min setting of 2850 rpm required to avoid no flow …. Not good Slow heat rate compared to previous heater

My previous pool was Pentair with my new pool being Jandy. The Pentair pool has mostly 20 year old technology as a base, replaced with newer parts as needed over the years. This Jandy heater has simply been the worst part of a mostly bad/poor brand new Jandy pool experience. Three months after the pool/spa was turned over to us, the heater simply would not ignite. I have had it two weeks and now there is some ignition fault so the heat exchanger burner will not light. I paid $4000 for this and the install. In 2016 I had to replace my prior Jandy product (same equipment) and I paid $2750. This is my fourth heater in 20 years, all Jandy products per the recommendation of the pool builder and the pool and spa heater company. I am less than impressed.
