I had a similar 400btu heater made by Jandy, prior to replacing it after 9 years of excellent service. This new model did not improve the NOISE level of the heater, and it takes a bit longer to heat up the same pool. I was hoping that after 9 years, Jandy would have come up with a much improved heater. Prices are now twice as much too.

We love the new bypass valve in the heater! With the water only flowing by the exchanger when the heater is on, we’re hoping to get more than the four years we had with our previous heater (same model). Nice improvement.
