they are nice and bright, I like the colors that it offers but really not impressed with the longevity of them, I have 2 in my pool, this would have been the third year and the one in the shallow end did not go on this season and the one in the deep end the white color is no longer working, I have friends that have had their lights for 8 to 10 years before having to change them. may have to look into alternatives that last longer. I would suggest making the replacement boards at least more affordable.

The lights are beautiful and bright, but they don't last. I have 3 lights in my 32' x 14' pool and one in my spa, done in 2016. Two of the pool lights needed replacement at the 3 year mark, then one of the replacements went out within 2 years, and now the spa light is out. I am now looking at replacing potentially all 4 lights at 900 a piece within 5 years. Spending $3,600 every 3-5 years is very costly. I expected the lights to last much longer.

I don’t like how you have to wait for the lights to cycle. You should just be able to turn them on and be set at the last color selected. Also, I’m very upset that there is no option for red. One reason we wanted the color option is to have red for football Saturday’s and Sundays.

However, the light will cycle to the last color it was on when you turn the lights on after being off for a while. The lights aren't particularly bright and they only allow limited pre- programed selections (i.e. the Red and Blue in the USA setting cannot be selected as stand alone colors - which is a shame because they are probably the brightest and best colors.) Would chose something else next time.

Lights work great. My only knocks are that the lights have to cycle to get to a color. (Not sure why they were designed this way) It gives the impression that the system is low end. The other issue I have is that they won't do red and no one will tell us why. We only get that it doesn't do red but yet will do red when the lights are in America theme........

So far my experience has been very good. The lights are bright and fill my 12000g pool. The only color that doesn't fill the pool is red. The "dessert rose" is also a little ugly and I wish it could be omitted in the rotation. The other colors are gorgeous though, especially the deep blues and purple. So glad you like our lights, Mitch! As an FYI, that clicking noise is not coming from the lights themselves. There are no moving parts within the lights. The clicking you hear is actually the circuit in the automation system turning on/off to switch the color of the lights. Our lights change colors by turning on/off in quick succession. There is no negative effect on longevity down the road by changing the colors of your lights as often as you like. Enjoy! Jandy Pro Series
