I would absolutely avoid this vet like the plague. Told us the cats we wanted to adopt were healthy animals. One cat died less than a month later as a result of FIV, Feline Leukemia, and lymphoma. I will never go near this vet again.
Why was a puppy left alone while getting bathed? You caused it’s death. What’s being done to make the situation right? I see no apology
They allowed a puppy to die in their care due to negligence. Do not bring your animals here
Saw an extremely saddening post about a puppy left alone and died due to the negligence of their staff. I will never bring my dog to board here. They haven’t even acknowledged or apologized publicly to this woman or even made a post about it to at least satiate current and future clients.
They allowed a puppy to die in their boarding care, due to negligence. Puppy got strangled when left alone, not crated, so a tech could take another dog to wash. I’m beyond mortified to hear this story.
We boarded our dogs over Labor Day weekend since our regular dog sitter moved away. We love the vets at Jefferson but I am so upset at the condition that my dogs were in when we picked them up. We were told our dogs would be let out a minimum of 3x a day. Which is fine because that’s what our dog sitter did anyway when we were gone. We recently moved from Michigan, and we were concerned we wouldn't find a animal hospital like we had. We are blessed to have found a better one....in a loving family feeling you are taken care right as you walk in that door. We had a scare with our Bella yesterday and they were there! Jefferson Animal Hospital is great! From when you get there, thru your appointment til you leave. They are very detailed on services and costs providing options. Compassion and knowledge is superior. Dr. Stephanie is the best!
