We had a huge moving semi break it’s hydraulic hose and cause a disaster on our driveway! The oil stain was across over 1/2 the driveway and then poured down to the road. Jet Black did a step 3 process: 1. They took a propane burner and burned the excess oil off to stop the softening of the tar. 2. They primed the driveway to seal the oil from looking bad. 3. Work was done on time and the employees were professional. A few minor problems with crack filling which were addressed in a timely fashion. There are a few appearance differences between areas that were done with a broom (edges and next to adjoining concrete) and areas that were done with a squeege.
Best Seal Coat on my driveway after trying many companies! Won't go anywhere else now!
Jet-Black sealcoated my driveway two years ago. Before they sealed it, they filled a handful of cracks. When the job was finished, I could still see lots and lots of little cracks, and many small holes. The driveway was not SMOOTH. It was not UNIFORM. All it was, was BLACK. Twice, they had to come back when grass started to grow through the driveway. I’m considering doing the job myself this year. Even though I am a senior citizen – and a woman - I could not possibly do worse than Jet-Black. .

Hello ***** - I apologize that your expectations were not met. We did respond to your complaints quickly and sent crews back out 2 times to top off cracks, and as far as we know, you were satisfied. Cracks do need to be a certain size to accept the hot rubber crackfiller. Thin or shallow cracks are not filled with the rubber and will often still be visible afterwards. I am writing to explain our dissatisfaction with Jet Black. We contacted our local Jet Black to get our driveway seal coated. Talked with the technician, he gave us a date when our driveway would be completed. Because of the rainy weather we were having, I did expect a possible delay. After waiting for almost two weeks, I contacted our technician again, left a message, no call back. Waited for two more days, called again, voicemail was full. It is no excuse, but it has been cold and rainy for virtually 3 weeks straight which has everyone very backed up and frustrated.
