Like most of JOEY management, CEO Jeff Fuller started his remarkable journey flipping burgers, washing dishes and sweeping floors. It’s called paying your dues, learning from the ground up and understanding what success takes. “If there’s a secret,” he says, “it’s hard work, unwavering commitment to the customer and assembling the very best people.” Jeff absorbed valuable lessons from his family’s successful businesses before striking out on his own with a brand new concept in upscale casual restaurants. The free champagne is delicious but overall I was very disappointed in the food. My Mediterranean salad had chicken with the fat still on it which I found utterly gross. It was so darn loud it was hard to focus. Come for the champagne - but leave and go eat elsewhere!!
The sparkling wine upon arrival is a nice touch. Our food was good, though steak was a bit undercooked. The service was friendly, but the service was slow and we had to ask several people for the status of our beverages and for water to be refilled. The decor and ambiance is nice but the paper napkins have to go. At this price point, cloth napkins are a must. Compliments to the manger for quickly resolving the service related issues.
Complimentary glass of champagne when you arrive, went for an early valentines dinner, Salmon, Steak Frites were great. Trendy drinks and the music was good especially for a Friday night, once it was 10 pm happy hour begins again so last round was discounted. My girlfriend loved it.
Daniel was an amazing waiter! Very attentive and funny. The reason value is 3 stars is because each person will probably spend about 30-60 on just themselves and as a group, it can really add up. The food is DELICIOUS but it also comes with a heavy price tag. Overall, the waiters are extremely nice and easy going and I will be coming back.
Another very nice look alike Esplanade section restaurant. Ambience nice, Was able to converse at table for two. Complimentary Prosecco and service very good. Food a bit ordinary. Had a nice salad, burger OK but not up to snuff for the neighborhood. I really liked the staff, but food a bit disappointing. Will return with friends, hopefully they will improve preparations, as many friends have same opinion.
My dining experience was ok. I went there for my birthday dinner and we did get a nice booth but no one acknowledged my birthday even when I put it in my Open Table app. The food was ok but the steak and ravioli was disappointing due to the price and what you get. I upgraded to filet mignon and for $66 was very disappointing. Service was great. I’m not sure I will go back to dine there due to price vs quality of food. I spent almost $200 for nothing.
Good service and all of the food and drinks were delicious!
Overalll the experience was good. I went for my birthday. I enjoyed the free champagne at the beginning and the complimentary dessert. The only downside were the portion sizes. My salmon dish was good but the salmon piece was very very small ( and I’m not a big eater)! The truffle fries were average and and the cauliflower app was very small too. Otherwise the restaurant itself is very pleasant.
Our waiter Eddy was the best !!! Only complaint is that there are no restrooms on the main dining level and no elevator to get to the second floor . So unless you’re in excellent shape it’s advisable to go before you get there 🥹
