This was my 1st visit to this restaurant. I reserved a dinner party for 13. I know that servers get automatic gratuity when you have a big party, but that doesn't mean the service was worth it. Our server barely checked on us. Didn't get drink refills until almost at the end of our dinner. The food was average nothing to brag about. My mother was charged $5.50 for a slice of "garlic bread" that we assumed comes with the lobster pasta she ordered. If you bring kids just know their meal is the same price as an adult. In a location where there is a plethora of restaurants, Joey Aventura is definitely a standout. From the layout of the space to the level of service to the food quality, this place delivers. To begin with, the floor to ceiling glass facade faces west, providing for an amazing sunset experience, both from the bar area as well as the second floor.
