New test kitchen item, chicken fried rice bowl, very unappetizing, too much sauce. Only took a few bites, do not recommend. The roasted corn guacamole made up for it. Delicious! Lovely wait staff, went the extra mile to accommodate our service dog.

The experience overall was mediocre. Due to previous reviews, I was expecting more. Food arrived quickly but overall quality and taste just okay, nothing special. Three tiny (size of palm) short rib tacos cost $25.00 and although tender contained a lot of fat on the very small portions of meat. The appetizer, gyoza was the best thing we ordered. Each an everytime I visit Joey's at Bentall in Vancouver I am more than impressed than I was the previous time. From the moment I walk through the doors with friends of mine we are treated like special guests. It is very rare when the service is not beyond great and even more rare when the food is not beyond great. Joey's at Bentall has become my favorite restaurant in Vancouver. I recommend highly to not just my friends in Vancouver but to friends who visit from other parts of Canada and the world.

Great food and service, minor Renos occurring on the upper floors but the friendly staff and overall hospitality cancels it out. I will definitely be coming back!
