First the server took 20 minutes to contact us. Half of the restaurant was empty. Then we order the drinks and without asking for the food she went away. Contacted the host as tgem to send tge server for food order ends up half of the items not in stock which we weren’t aware of. Then we asked them for cheque and she said “DONT COME BACK”. Like seriously.
They did not have our reservation. What the heck was the point in using open table. We just got some random seats instead of a nice reserved booth or something. Seems unacceptable to me.
Service was extremely poor. Had to ask for my wife’s drink 3 times. She asked for a Cava at the same time as my appetizer and didn’t get it until she was half way through dinner. My burger was average at best (not as good as usual). Not sure if it’s a training issue but our gal seemed scattered.
I am a regular at joeys near my home in manhattan beach CA and brought a party of seven to the Vancouver location on a family trip. First the good….the food is always solid and the menu varied enough to have something for everyone. The poor rating here is due to the really disappointing service we received on this trip. Terrible service, rude manageress. Overpriced.
I had ordered a special dessert for one of the people at lunch and I called ahead of time but it never showed up very disappointing
This one definitely the most disappointing visit I’ve had at a Joey. We were sat right away which was great but after having two separate people ask us what we wanted to drink we waited over 15 minutes for our drinks. In fact my margarita came at the same time as my food which was ordered after. My dish was inedible and I asked the sever if I could switch to something else. I ordered a medium rare NY Striploin unfortunately came out medium. I told the server but instead of getting a new steak cooked, she said it looked medium rare and can get the temperature checked. I declined because I did not want her to bring back a cold steak after checking the temperature. I have never heard a server say they will check the temperature! If it’s over cooked servers always just get another steak redone. She didn’t check up on us again until it was time to pay the bill. Awful food awful service!
Too crowded. Not checking vaccine passport. Greeter was way too close - really crowded into my face. Won’t go again
