Service was not very good this time around and neither was the food. This is a first for me as usually I have great food and service here.

Overall it was an alright visit, with a couple of annoyances. They had non-alcoholic drink samples at the front - some sort of fizzy peach thing. My kids liked it and each got a glass. The glasses were small sparkling wine glasses and the cost each was more than a beer, at $9 each????? Our server was not very aware of the different steak choices on the menu. I asked what type of cut came with the ravioli and steak, he had no idea. Tried asking about other cuts, no idea.

Went for my birthday dinner with family. The place was busy today probably because it's a long weekend. Foods were served fast which is great. When we ordered our desserts it took long before we were given dessert spoons (not after I asked the server) the ice cream and whipped cream started to melt. Our server vanished for 45 minutes which meant we were waiting that length of time to ask for the bill.

Service not as great as other locations twice in a row now
Very frequent flyers at Joey. Unfortunately, I think the server was a little extra busy and I also since she was new, so understandable that she struggled with our order. Wasn’t really familiar with the menu and our requests and the changes to the Berger or really not all that good we don’t think going from one patty to two thin patties, which seemed a little overcooked and flavourless compared to one Patty. All in all we love the place and will be back.
I may have come on an off night. Butter chicken tasted like it had ketchup sauce. Waitress didn't really check up on us til 15min after our food came. Not too impressed. I would have sent it back but really didn't have the opportunity.
Ordered the Classic Steak rare. Worst steak ever. It was like chewing rubber, literally !! I left most of it in my plate. Told the waiter, he said he would mention the the Chef but still charged me full price. So AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST if you plan to go there for a steak. There are much better steak house near Joey Chinook.
The food was terrible. First time I’ve hated it. My husband felt the same and I think our other three guests were just being nice.
