Joey is one of my favorite places, and I usually have a great experience every time I visit. The food quality is consistently excellent, just as always. However, during this visit, it seemed like their system was down, which affected the overall service. We had to remind the staff of basic service items, like bringing a glass of water. I understand that technical issues can happen, but I believe better organization and contingency planning should be in place to maintain service standards during such situations.
The food was great. Service was attentive and not pushy at all. We spent 3 1/2 hours there and the waiter was wonderful.
Enjoyed my lunch at the bar today. I ordered the Farmer's Market Salad and had it with a side of Katsu Chicken 🥰. So DELICIOUIS. Enjoyed a couple glasses of the house red wine - it is one of my favourite wines, and very reasonably priced if you want to treat yourself to a bottle ❤️ (especially on Tuesdays when bottles are up to 1/2 price off ☺️.
