Last night’s dining experience was unfortunately a bit of a letdown. This was the third time the three of us have gathered at Joey Lansdowne to celebrate a milestone, and we came in expecting the same great experience we’ve had before. The food was good overall, but the service fell short of what we’ve come to expect. Sat on the Patio, wasn't too busy on a Monday lunch hour. We were welcomed with a complimentary (1/4) glass of sparkling wine, which was a nice surprise. Food was very good, but a bit pricey. Service was fabulous as well. We will be back
Food was delicious and beautifully plated, deserving of the price. Server was nice and gave her customer the right amount of attention and aide. The only thing was that I preordered the 50$ experience with the <0.5% wine to be ready at our table along with a lounge area booked, but when we got there we were seated randomly and there was no bottle. After bringing this up to the waitress, she kindly brought us what I had preordered and it was great from there on.
There were six of us going for early lunch on Father’s Day. We had to come at 11 AM as soon as the restaurant opened so that we could make a 1245 movie together the Front Desk person the hostess was fantastic and it was great that we could wait inside for a few minutes before they actually started serving.
