Main meal is good but I expected a little more taste. Nice presentation, friendly staff.

Had a great outing and our server was amazing. Very friendly, polite and knowledgeable.
The hostest was sitting us at a booth and when we arrived there was already a customer there. She walked us back to figure it out and brought us to a new table (high top) we asked to be sat at a booth that was being cleared and our group of 4 was denied because a 6 person group was going to be sat there. I always have an excellent experience at Joey’s. The Ottawa Lansdowne location is one of my favourite spots where all the staff are friendly and welcoming. I particularly enjoy the genuine hospitality of Will and Sidney as they make my experience that much more pleasant and enjoyable.
What a wonderful meal we enjoyed on Dec 11,2024 at Joey Lansdowne. All of the staff from the chef's busily, working in the kitchen to the front of house and wait staff were incredible. Kudos to your restaurant for providing excellent service. I'd like to recognize in particular Rhianna Who took amazing care of our table. Our server although very nice seemed very inexperienced. She had another server helping us which seemed way more experienced. The hostess at the front was also very inexperienced...had a reservation which specified a high top in the lounge. I asked if we could sit at the window and 4 tables at the window were empty but she wasn't sure if we could have one of those tables??
