It was fine. Nothing special. Truffle fries, tuna salad, poke bowl. Steaks. Nothing new.
We were celebrating my husband’s milestone birthday and the hostess confirmed this and said something special would be coming - I assumed a complementary dessert. However, the server never acknowledged our special occasion and nothing was done to mark the event. That was disappointing.
Joey is a fantastic dining experience. The staff is phenomenal and the food is phenomenal and the vibe is phenomenal! I wish it was a little quieter but to be honest it’s not annoying noise it’s lively noise. You can tell that everyone in the building is joyful being there and that’s a good thing. Every time I go to Joey I enjoy myself.

We had a spectacular lunch! The Executive chef prepared a few special yellowtail dishes as appetizers. Everything we ordered off the menu was prepared perfectly. The staff was excellent and made us feel very special.

Please recognize a lot of Jody seating is outside, which is not so pleasant in OC winters and has car lights flashing into one eyes. Ask for indoor seating to afford these weather & traffic distractions. .
