We had another great evening at Joey-Newport! The hostess was so friendly and welcoming…..and, we were seated after a short wait. Our server Maha was lovely! She helped us with drink and menu suggestions and continued to check in with us throughout our meal. We ordered the gyoza apps, the ravioli, and the fish tacos…everything was delicious and perfectly prepared! Many thanks to the chef and all the wait staff.
When we arrived and checked in the reservation was never confirmed that we checked in. This caused us to have to wait extra time and people that checked in after us get a table ahead of us. Finally we checked back in and they said it would a few minutes, when we were sat, they sat us at a table for someone else so we had to go back to the front and wait again. Went for my partner’s birthday and it went great!!!! Service was very attentive. Food at the Newport location honestly blew pass our expectations. The Hibachi Wings were a true success as well as the Sushi Cones. Melt in your mouth steaks and velvety pasta. Great choice! Lots of money.
