We chose this place for a birthday celebration, and we were extremely pleased with the whole experience. The staff was exceptionally attentive and made the birthday “girl” feel very special! We all really enjoyed our meals, especially the Mini Steak French Dips and the Truffle Udon Carbonara! The Crème Brûlée Cheesecake and Butter Cake were delicious, as well. It was surprisingly busy for lunch, so I recommend making reservations.

One of my favorite places in OC. Food is always on point as is the great service. It's a bit trendy and hip with live DJ. It's a vibe, highly recommended.

We had a great "linner" this afternoon at Joey Newport Beach. From the check in, to being seated earlier than our reservation, to beverage service, and our AMAZING server Katelyn, we can't recommend Joey high enough!!! Katelyn was helpful in suggesting the Gyozas as a starter. We split the Garden Harvest Salad with salmon and fish tacos. They split and served the portions for us which was a nice touch. Joey’s made us feel special on our 26th wedding anniversary. The hostess checking us in offered us champagne while we waited for our table. Not sure what the name of the champagne was, but it must have been good quality because I didn’t have headache afterwards. When we got to our table there was a handwritten card wishing us happy anniversary… nice touch! Our server, Kaili was very nice and attentive. Great dinner, something for everyone! Service was great maybe too much time between apps and ordering entrees though.
