Our visit to Joey's for supper yesterday left much to be desired in terms of service. Despite requesting water, it was not served. Moreover, my friend, who has an onion allergy, was offered only a plain burger without any additional condiments like ketchup, mayo, or mustard. Came here for two and got seated pretty quickly on a Thursday night. They offered us a complimentary drink at the front of the reception, which was really nice:) The sushi & steak is a great combo! I highly recommend this dish and you can choose from either tuna avocado or salmon. We had the tuna one and it was tasty. The steak was cooked just right and not hard to chew. Bubbly white at the door, nice knowledgeable waitress with manners, and the atmosphere is my vibe! I’m from Montreal and I rarely rave about Ottawa. But this is definitely a place I ABSOLUTELY want to go back to!! And the food was so tasty and fresh! We had a blast and I can’t wait to go back! 10/10 recommend. I loved the lettuce wraps the most!
We’re visiting Ottawa for the weekend and decided on stopping by Joey’s for dinner. We arrived right on time, just before the rush, and got seated immediately. Food looked and tasted great and service was very good as well. We were provided with meal recommendations that met our needs and the atmosphere was great. Food also arrived very quickly and served hot. Highly recommended the pita bread. Try not to eat too many though. Might have to roll you out of the restaurant. Heh.
Amazing service, delicious food & great music! Also I was in absolute awe when I saw the flower table they had set up for Mother’s Day, such a beautiful touch !
