Amazing food, fantastic service. One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.
We had an excellent experience here with a baby and preschooler in tow; it was also our first time dining out with a new allergy in the family so we didn’t know what meal options there would be. The hostesses were extremely accommodating, seating us even though they didn’t yet have enough servers on staff so we could settle in (rather than waiting outside). Great place! Every restaurant owner & staff should eat here just to see what a well run operation looks like. Amazing how well trained this staff is , friendly & highly enthusiastic about their job here. Food selection was great , decor and atmosphere is amazing . Best part of this whole experience other than the food is the outstanding service ! I come to Ottawa on business every 4-6 weeks. I purposely stay close by so I can go for supper there. This place has never disappointed in food or service. The waiters/waitresses are very friendly and attentive. Meaghan was my server tonight and she was fabulous as i expected. Overall, it was a great experience. The front of house staff were friendly and very efficient in serving the party of twelve I was a part of. The food was delicious, and the menu selections were innovative. If I were to split hairs, I would suggest that my steak could have used a tad more seasoning. At any rate, I highly recommend Joey Rideau to anyone who enjoys a solid casual but fine dining experience.
