Dr Joe Wilson is the best orthopedic I have ever met. He listens and cares and down to earth. I have never had a doctor give his cell to call anytime when I had an issue and YES he did answer personally. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson and thank him so much.

I met with Dr Wilson to see about a knee problem I have been having for 2 months. He came in fully prepared with all of the information I needed to understand what my problem is. In addition we spent some time discussing pain management options and a detailed approach on how to address my knee moving forward. Our meeting felt focused and covered all aspects of a good doctors visit. After seeing 3 other shoulder "experts" in the Raleigh area, I was lucky enough to have someone tell me about Joe Wilson. Without a doubt he is the top shoulder surgeon in the area and truly cares about his patients. The amount of time he took explaining my problem in great detail and with drawings as an added bonus was incredible. Thank you Dr. Joe for fixing my shoulder and getting me back to my regular life. I can't say enough about Joe Wilson. He performed surgery, a reverse total shoulder replacement, in the fall of 2017. This was my second replacement, the first was completed 20 plus years ago. Dr. Wilson is the most caring doctor that I have ever been to. Even though I was in pain I always looked forward to go and see him for my office visits. I don’t think I have ever had a doctor that I would put above Dr. Wilson. He always gives you all details and always was positive with his patients. Great Doctor!!
I highly recommend DR Wilson and his staff, he is one of the most compassionate thorough competent Doctors I have ever seen. My Shoulder is almost like new 5 months after my Bicep surgery.I have never had a doctor give his cell to call anytime I had a issue especially after surgery and YES he does answer personally. He has some military background so he relates to us Soldiers. Great bed side manners and facilities. I would give 6 stars if I could!
