Have been seeing an ophthalmologist for 57 of my 61 years and as a retired healthcare executive in Zoatient Safety, I cannot recommend Dr. Melendez more highly. His superlative clinical expertise is equaled by his kind, personal approach to patient care. I’ve just completed my second cateract surgery without issue. Great physician and excellent support staff.
Dr. Melendez is compassionate and listens to everything being said to him. I have never felt rushed out of his office and he takes as long as I need to get my questions answered. He explains things to me and I understand what he is saying. I have scheduled cataract surgery for both eyes in the near future with him and I have a very high level of trust in his decisions regarding my care during the procedures.
