She doesn't care about her patients at all... I haven't been able to get my antidepressant prescription multiple times do to her incompetence and absolute neglect of her patients. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT PICK HER AS YOUR PHSYCHIATRIST!!!
She was horrible and mostly just rude and dismissive. When I tried to explain my symptoms she basically told me to stop talking cause I am over powering her. She did not want to listen to anything I had to say, and talked most of the time. After ten min she told me I am bipolar, seems to be her favorite diagnosis to give. She was dismissive to anything I had to say, how can you diagnose me with such harsh illness when you didn’t even listen to me. She was more concerned about her check list.
I agree that she eases you into (and off) the meds slowly and that it is difficult to connect with her, but she was patient when explaining how the different meds work, and I tried many different meds that she prescribed. Nothing seemed to work without making me feel like a zombie. Then she decided I was bipolar and put me on different meds. Completely wrong. I found another doctor and am very happy with him. FYI: Being labeled bipolar is a BIG problem when trying to obtain life insurance.
Called for an urgent appointment, had to pull teeth to get one. Completely apathetic front desk. Arrived 15 minutes early, was seen 20 minutes late. Had a most uncomfortable appointment; she was curt, unfriendly, dismissive. Felt like she was just waiting for me to stop talking so she could continue explaining how I was blowing everything out of proportion. Like other reviews, I had to sit through a whole pitch for bipolar disorder, it was a waste of time for both parties.
She seems obsessed with diagnosing everyone she sees with bipolar, even after a very brief interview and symptoms not diagnostic of BPD, and refuses to listen. She has zero empathy or concern. I would rather go into debt by going out of network than to be verbally abused the way she and several other PCSD staff members treated me and many others. It is obvious that PCSD doesn't care at all about their patients' well-being. Steer clear!
Two visits a year apart. First visit. 15 minutes. Typical intro eval. Says she sees no reason for meds. Not that serious issue. Second visit PTSD - IED due to sex abuse as kid (m) . Fifteen minutes. Typical intake eval. disclose Christian, need leave. Asked if I think about death. "Naturally. It is the hope of going home to be with my Lord. I often think about how I would like to go. How I think I might go. But never to take my own life." "You scare me. You need be hospitalized" no leave.
What a terrible doctor! She told me that I either had to take a medication or she'd terminate me. She is cold and mean.
Worst ever. Cold greeting, constantly interrupting to roll through her checklist, arrogant, horrible. Academic and medical credentials are poor. She's got the ideal personality to sit at home and stare at a wall, not to deal with people. Jumps to conclusions with minimal background and familiarity with patients. "Nurse Ratchet" in her demands upon the patient. I'd never see her again.
One of the rudest, coldest and most unhelpful doctors ever. She wouldn't prescribe me a short-term medication to help with insomnia because I want to get pregnant, despite the fact that I couldn't be pregnant for at least three weeks. The more I tried to explain to her about how I knew I wasn't pregnant and wouldn't be for weeks, the more I came to believe she doesn't understand how pregnancy works. Every time I asked a question I would get a curt "no" with no further elaboration. So rude!
